The Norhern Discipline family experienced a major setback, which led us to write this announcement.

ND's Long-term drummer (2000-2012) Antti Salo announced he would quit the band. We had been aware of this unfortunate possibility for a while now, but the confirmation , however, was still very sad news.

Antti´s departure from the band does not include any drama within the band chemistry nor any other band-related matters. Antti simply wants to spend more time with his lovely family and therefore does not want to hold the band back. The decision was very difficult for Antti as well.

We respect Antti´s decicion wholeheartedly. Antti showed true professionalism when he told he would stay with us until we would find a new drummer, at least until th end of March, possibly longer if needed.

Antti, we would like to thank You for all the amazing years we have had together. It's been an honour to play with you, and obviously we will stay good friends in the future too. We will miss your accurate and strong drumming, especially Sibboblast, as well as your bad sense of humour.
